Captain Quail 19 - Best Laid Plans (Oct. 1, 2013)

Welcome to The Adventures of Captain Quail.

Today marks the beginning of a potentially awesome month for Quail Comics. For one, Friday will mark our 20th comic. Which is amazing. We don't have a goal with how far we're going to take the series, but milestones like this make us just want to keep going.

We also have two very exciting weekends ahead of us. This weekend, we will be at Kraken Con! Kraken Con is a new fan con happening just South of San Francisco, and we hope it will take off. We won't have a booth, but we will be wearing official Captain Quail T-Shirts, and handing out free prints from the comic. What do these T-shirts look like? I'm glad you asked, because we're going to be showing pictures of the shirts, as well as telling you how you can win one, in Friday's post.

It's our plan to have a rollicking good time with our prints and our shirts this weekend at Kraken Con, but no plan survives contact with the enemy. As Captain Quail is soon to discover in today's comic.
