Captain Quail 21 - Combes (Oct. 8, 2013)

As you've probably figured out by now, we really love puns here. Especially Star Trek inspired puns. The last panel of today's comic has been in the back of our minds for a while now, and this story arc gave us the opportunity to introduce the Egg Surprise's medical officer, and use a joke line that has had us cracking up. We hope other people find it funny, but we really don't know. (psst. you can use the comment field below this post to let us know what you think)

Along with geeky puns, we also love geeky cons. This weekend, this past Saturday to be exact, was KrakenCon, a brand new con that we were very pleased by. KrakenCon has a lot of the potential for fun of FanimeCon, without much of the included drama that has been building in recent years. (Although both cons suffer from sever disorganization of the ticketing and admission lines) Hopefully, KrakenCon will continue to grow, and we will have a stronger presence in the coming years. This year was more exploration for us, and we enjoyed meandering the halls in our tshirts and handing out micro-prints.
