Where does the time go? I had grand dreams of playing (or at least trying to play) a bunch of games this weekend so I could talk about them here, but the time slipped away from me. I did attempt to play To The Moon, and immediately appreciated the art and the music and what I saw of the story. I couldn't get very into it, however, and barely made it past the intro. I don't know if it was the controls, or the pacing, or what, but I stopped very quickly. I think I would have rather watched a 16-bit movie of the story they obviously had to tell. If there's someone out there who thinks I should continue, let me know in the comments, because its game I want to like and couldn't.

On the list of games that I probably shouldn't like (for the health of my wallet) but love to death is Hearthstone. I've written about it before, and I still like it. A lot. I would happily play with anyone who visits this site, just ask for my Blizzard ID. 

While we are obviously great fans of Star Trek on this site, we also like Star Wars quite a bit. This weekend we got a chance to visit the Star Wars exhibit at the San Jose Tech Museum. If you like Star Wars in the slightest, or enjoying seeing behind the scenes of how the make movies, I can't recommend this exhibit enough. If you live near the Bay Area, you should take yourself and anyone who still believes in movie magic to go see it.
