Normally, on Tuesdays, I try to talk about video games, specifically, games I have played in the past week. This is somewhat hindered when the only games I've played in the past week are Hearthstone and variations on 2048. I could talk about games that I would like to play, chief among them being Heroes of the Swarm. I've seen video of people playing the game, and if Blizzard takes the same approach to MOBAs with Heart of the Swarm that they've taken to Collectible Card Games with Hearthstone, then we're in for something very interesting.
Of course, now I want to play more League of Legends.
I find it interesting that there is so much media available for our consumption, yet we often find it so difficult to find things worth consuming. My household has multiple video-on-demand accounts (but not basic cable), which theoretically provides endless entertainment, and yet we spend so much time trying to find something we want to watch. I wish there was a magical recommendation engine that could provide me what I wanted to watch, even if I didn't know what that was. I also wish there was a similar system for comics.
Maybe we'll build one someday.
Some reminders: We have a youtube channel, and a growing collection of pretty darn funny videos of us chatting while the comic is drawn. We're also going to be attending KrakenCon, and we hope to see you there.
Thanks,
Philip
